Authors After Dark is proud to offer a special track for bloggers of romance! Bloggers who attend the event will be treated to several special goodies, blogger only parties and events and a special meet and greet with the authors.
Our intent for this special program is to further the blogger/author relationship, because bloggers are the life's blood of the indie promotional force. We will be limiting the blogger track, to ensure they are treated to the best of the best. More info coming December 2010.

Shamanic Journey with Patti Hawse and Kyle Christ: Come enjoy a spiritual journey through this guided mediation/shamanic journey facilitated by Patti Hawse with live music by Kyle Christ. We will work on opening chakras, releasing old energy that does not serve us, and running healing energy to every cell in your body. You will then "journey" to gain insight to questions or issues, relieve stress and pain, resolve old conflicts and relationships that bind you, and connect to your spirit guides or higher beings. Sound Immersion The Quartz Crystal Bowls $10 person/ 1hour Learn about symbolism of the sacred quartz crystal bowls, how they are made and how they heal us. I will teach you how the are played and you will receive a short 'soundbath' of the nourishing crystalline tones.
Vocal Toning $10 person/ 1 hour Toning in your own voice, with intention, is a very powerful tool for self-healing, relaxation, personal growth, and for helping to balance you, and your life experiences. We will do a few exercises together and tone to the sounds of the crystal bowls as a group.

Bloggers and authors go through similar career cycles - from newbie to midlist to established. How can authors and bloggers support each other to grow and gain audiences? What is the best way for authors and bloggers to approach each other at different points in their careers? How can authors and bloggers work together on out-of-the-box events and features? What do bloggers really need when? What do authors need when? This workshop is designed to give authors and bloggers new insights about each other. It doesn't focus on reviews, but rather, the endless and excellent possibilities in the author blogger relationship.
